A beautiful little plant with starry orange, yellow, peach or white flowers in spring. They are actually hybrids of the dubious ornithogalum ( Ornithogalum dubium ), a South African bulbous plant.
Dodgy Ornithogales are charming, low-maintenance houseplants while they are in bloom. Once bloomed, flowers can last for more than a month, sometimes up to three months if your plant produces multiple flower stems.
Do not eat your dodgy ornithogalum and keep it out of reach of pets, as it is believed to be poisonous (many species of Ornithogalum are).
